Placing Orders

Orders may be placed by phone, by email, or by submitting an order form. We require email contact information to communicate the order details. A proforma order that includes shipping costs, product details, and estimated shipping date will be provided for confirmation. If you would like to place an order, please submit a "Place an Order" form.


We require a 50% deposit prior to the start of production. The balance of the payment will be due prior to the color application. We accept PayPal, Credit and debit cards as well as personal checks, Zelle, and wire transfers. Personal checks, Zelle, and wire transfers may be eligible for a discount on the product portion of the invoice.


We have printed installation instructions that are included with each shipment. These can be reviewed prior to receiving by requesting an emailed copy. Most installations can be done by those with moderate skill levels. Generally, two people are required to install an enclosure. We can also try to assist in locating a third party for installations. In the Sacramento, California area, we can arrange for installation in most situations.

Technical support is available at all times. A direct contact number will be provided for weekend installations. Phone, text, and email options are always available.


Commonly our lead time is 4 to 6 weeks. This may vary due to peak season orders and/or material availability. At the time of order, we provide an estimated ship date. We make every effort to meet this date and will stay in contact with the progress of the order.

Freight and Delivery

Most orders are shipped in a single crate that is designed for residential deliveries. The size and weight of the crate varies depending on the product included. Generally, the crate measures 41 inches in width by 72 inches in length x 76 to 89 inches in height. The shipping weight ranges from 620 lbs. to 750 lbs. The crate can be opened and disassembled easily using a battery-powered screwdriver. Once opened, the packages can be simply moved by hand. The heaviest package is roughly 55 lbs. and can be further broken down into smaller components for easy handling.

Freight carriers are only required to deliver to the curbside in front of the residence. Generally, freight is quoted requesting a lift-gate with curbside delivery. Any other arrangements must be made ahead of the order being shipped and may incur additional charges. We make every effort to make deliveries as seamless and easy as possible. At the time of shipping, we will provide you with the contact information for the freight carrier. With all shipments, we request that the carrier contact you for a delivery time.

Freight Carriers

Unless otherwise specified, regular delivery will be via common carrier (LTL FREIGHT) or parcel carrier of our choice. All effort is made to use carriers that combine dependable service and competitive rates.

Damage and Claims

Even with the best carriers, freight damage may occur. It is extremely important to protect yourself when receiving freight shipments. IT IS THE RECEIVER’S RESPONSIBILITY TO INSPECT THE PRODUCT PRIOR TO SIGNING THE BILL OF LADING. Any freight damage, REAL OR SUSPECTED, must be noted on the bill of lading. Due to the number of parts in each crate, it may be difficult to determine the full extent of the damage.

When damage is real or suspected, a statement needs to be written on the bill of lading; DAMAGE SUBJECT TO FURTHER INSPECTION. This statement will give you the time needed to examine the product and determine the extent of the damage. You should then contact the freight carrier immediately to file a freight claim. The carrier will authorize payment of the freight costs to reship the product. The freight carrier will issue a check for the costs of the damaged parts that you purchased from us. Sequoia Spa Shelters will make a courteous effort to assist with claims and information regarding the costs of parts that may incur freight damage.

Order Cancellation

Unless we specifically advertise an item as “In Stock”, each order is built to your specifications. If a cancellation is needed, please notify us as soon as possible. Once an order is in production, the deposit is generally not refundable. If the order is complete and paid in full, we can only make any refunds if the product is sold to another party. We will make every attempt to re-sell it on your behalf. We do incur storage costs which would be deducted from any reimbursement. As a rule, we are not obligated to make refunds.
